Joe Mortimer

As a promoter I operate under the name 'UKSF Events'. There had been previous others, but this has stood firm since 2015 when me and several others formed UK Slam Fest and began to book an annual death metal festival and supporting events under than moniker. I have continued to arrange events in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, and London under the UKSF Events banner and use it as a platform to promote bands and bring them to the Merseyside area. I always considered myself a facilitator more than a promoter and still feel this way. I don't host shows for the profit, I do it for the engagement and the community aspect that comes with being involved withsuch efforts. Moving forward will see me trying to push my endeavours further, working closer with others who share the same passion for music that I do. Merseyside has been a site of musical talent for many generations, and I feel I can help promote the metal scene to such standards. Email: ukslamfest@gmail.com
